FAQ's

General Questions

The general rule is to visit your dentist at least once or twice a year.

Bleeding gums is a sign of gingivitis. This is when plaque causes the gums to become inflamed or irritated. If you see blood on your toothbrush or on the sink after brushing your teeth, it’s time for you to visit your dentist and have oral prophylaxis done to remove the plaque.

Tooth sensitivity after a whitening procedure can be common, although it usually lasts only 1–2 days. If your teeth still feel sensitive after 48 hours, consult your dentist.

You can have a bridge, denture, or implant done. Schedule a free virtual consult now, so we can further discuss your treatment options.

The length of time for a teeth whitening procedure varies from person to person, as it depends on factors like the current shade and condition of your teeth, the whitening agent that will be used, and lifestyle habits you may have (e.g. smoking and caffeine intake). In general, it usually takes around 1–2 hours. We can give you a specific time estimate upon the initial consultation.

General Questions

Yes, you can walk out on the same day with a brand new smile thanks to the all–on–4 approach. There’s no need to worry about being seen without teeth.

The all–on–4 approach utilizes only four implants to support an entire jaw. Many patients rave about it, because they say it improves their quality of life, makes them more confident, is more affordable, and best of all, as mentioned in the previous FAQ, they get to walk out on the same day with a new and improved smile.

The health and safety of our patients and staff are of utmost importance to us. Rest assured that we sterilize and disinfect all rooms, instruments, and materials and conform to standards and protocols set by Public Health Ontario.
